Online Spatial & Urban Seminar

A Zoom-based Economics Workshop
Mondays 11:30am-12:45pm (ET)

organized by
Erica Moszkowski, Augusto Ospital, Minseon Park, Fernanda Rojas-Ampuero, Gregor Schubert, and Harrison Wheeler

About OSUS:
OSUS was founded in June 2020 by Clare Balboni (MIT), Fabian Eckert (UCSD), Caitlin Gorback (NBER and U Texas), and Chris Severen (Philadelphia Fed) with the aim of bringing economists from various disciplines together to explore urban issues. OSUS is run by junior faculty and post-doctoral students on a revolving basis, with the aim of involving early-career academics in the broader urban economics community. The seminar is supported by the Urban Economics Association.

You can contact the seminar organisers at osus@urbaneconomics.org.

Organisation:
All seminars are 75 minutes long, with approximately 60 minutes for presentation and 15 minutes for audience Q&A. In each seminar, we will have two panelists to guide the discussion. Audience members can submit questions through the Q&A function of the webinar. The moderator will ask clarifying questions from the audience at appropriate intervals during the presentation. The moderator will generally unmute audience members during the general discussion so that they can ask their substantive questions in person.
